The Thursday Morning Senior Mixed Curling League is a recreational league open to all men and women over the age of 50. It has been running for over 25 years and has two separate sessions. The first half of the year runs from October to Christmas then January to March for the second half. The teams are drawn up by the Senior Mixed League Executive(s) and every attempt is made to mix up the teams so that no one curls with the same individuals for the entire year. This is a "FUN" curling league which encourages fellowship and good sportsmanship. Our kitchen staff prepares a "lunch special" each Thursday and the curlers are encouraged to spend some time socializing after the game.

We play a round robin for each half and prize money is awarded to the first three place teams for each half. We hold a Christmas Lunch Special on our last day of curling in December and a League Closing Banquet in March. There is also a trophy presented to the first place team in each half.

Every February a Grandma and Grandpa Funspiel is held on a regular Thursday morning curling date. The winners of the previous year spiel are responsible for organizing this event. Interested participates from both the Thursday Senior Mixed League and the Tuesday Senior Mens League are encouraged to sign up.

The Thursday Senior Mixed League also participates in an Interclub event. The other participating clubs are from High River and North Hill. Each club will host one event per year.
