Wednesday Morning Grey Owl The Grey Owl Curling League was started in the 2008 - 2009 curling season with 9 teams participating. The target is to have a 12 team league commencing in 2009 - 2010. The league is a competitive Masters / Seniors league open to all Seniors 50 years and older. The league plays one round robin of 11 games. The teams play for half of each teams winnings each week. Each team adds $16.00 to their total prize money each week. The league plays out of the Okotoks Curling Club and curls on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am. Competing teams come from Calgary, High River, and Okotoks. The competition commences in early October (October 7, 2009) and is completed by mid-January.
